Spell-Binding Doctor Strange Trailer Captivates Comic Con

But this year at the San Diego Comic Con, it came out swinging.

The Sherlock star presented a new trailer for the film, which is an adaptation of the comic by Steve Ditko.

The cast of 2017’s “Wonder Woman” discussed exploring the origins of the Amazonian warrior heroine played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot, and bringing a strong female lead to the male-dominated superhero movie world.

“Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe”. “Fantastic Beasts”, due out in November, is a spin-off from the magical “Harry Potter” universe created by J.K. Rowling. “We actually have a lot today”, said president Kevin Feige, who served as ringmaster. Starring in the film are Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen and many others.

Bratt is best known for his Emmy-awarding winning role as NYPD Detective Rey Curtis on NBC’s long-running drama Law & Order. Also making an appearance, some of the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, among them Kurt Russell who’s revealed as Star Lord’s dad.

Earlier Warner Brothers had pulled back the curtain on its own portfolio of upcoming DC Comics movies and non-superhero offerings, including “Wonder Woman”, “Justice League“, “Suicide Squad” and “Kong: Skull Island“. Click through and see who nailed the con this year.

Hall H was then treated to a “mockumentary” by “Thor: Ragnarok” director Taika Waititi in the style of his vampire spoof, “What We Do in the Shadows”. Additionally a short was shown revealing to fans what Chris Hemsworth’s Thor was doing during the events of Captain America: Civil War.
