Spice Girls hint possible reunion gig
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Geri, Mel B and Emma Bunton confirmed details of the gig, and are now hoping they will be able to convince bandmates Victoria Beckham and Mel C to be part of the reunion. “We’ve been thinking. We have the best fans in the entire world”, the ladies say in the video posted last night. “We’ve had our ups and downs, but you’ve always been there”, Emma concludes.

“To be serious, it is our 20th anniversary this year, and it would be rude not to celebrate, so hopefully something will be happening pretty soon, ” the “America’s Got Talent” judge said.
The trio all joined in by shouting: “You’re all invited!” while blowing kisses and waving at the camera.
Any performance is likely to only feature three of the group, as Victoria Beckham has already ruled herself out and Melanie Chisholm said she wants to focus on her solo career.
The teaser was received with a lot of excitement.
The video ends with a message that reads “Happy 20th birthday to all our fans”.
A reunion tour is slated for 2017, 21 years after they first hit the charts with hit single Wannabe – but Mel C and Victoria won’t be coming along.
Then the trio, shown in a split screen happily talk about the “party” they are planning to throw in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of the Spice Girls release of “Wannabe“.
The three are forming a group called GEM (Geri, Emma, Mel), and have registered a website called Spicegem.
The Spice Girls are reportedly going ahead with reunion plans, and it looks set to take place in London’s Hyde Park.
“Ayda, did Robbie know the Spice Girls?’ they asked, before listing the girls one by one, starting with Halliwell. I’m taking it slowly”.
