Spider-Man: Homecoming recruits Prometheus’ Logan Marshall-Green as another baddie

It’s too soon to say whether Starr’s Spider-Man: Homecoming appearance is a one off deal or if he could show up in sequels, but we’ll keep you updated on what’s going on with his character as more information comes in, which hopefully won’t be too long (though really, that’s applicable to nearly all the actors involved).

Though the web has been abuzz with rumors and reports about former Batman, Michael Keaton, taking on the role of the villainous Vulture in the next Spider-Man movie, Keaton’s not the only actor in Hollywood now in the middle of being cast in Marvel’s most popular superheroes homecoming to the studio after years at Sony.

Martin Starr previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a computer nerd in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, it is unlikely that he’ll be playing the same character.

But who will he be playing in the “Spider-Man” reboot?

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” stars Tom Holland as the new Spider-Man, with Marissa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Zendaya and Michael Keaton.

Civil War introduced moviegoers to the third version of Peter Parker since 2002’s Spider-Man, with Tom Holland winning over fans thanks to his lively, spirited turn as the young webslinger. It’s unlikely Starr will reprise this role, or that, if he did, he’d be identified on film as Cho.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have any of the story details for Spider-Man: Homecoming, as Marvel is keeping them close to home. Robert Downey Jr. will appear as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
