As part of the deal, a newly rebooted Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, would be featured in the Marvel universe, and fans had speculated that the webslinger would be first introduced in “Civil War”, premiering in May.
“There’s so many different versions of his story, and my favorite of which at the moment is Ultimate Spider-Man”.
“We’re now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the [canon]”, Downey Jr. said.
But does this mean that Spider-Man will reciprocate by including the Avengers in his upcoming film?
This is exemplified by Black Widow and War Machine’s debuting in “Iron Man 2“, Captain America teaming up with Black Widow and Falcon in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo’s “Captain America: Winter Soldier”, and The Hulk joining Thor in Taika Waititi’s “Thor: Ragnarok”.
Entertainment Weekly has the biggest bit of evidence hinting that Spider-Man will appear in the upcoming film thanks to a set visit where one if its reporters claims to have seen a stunt person dressed in the character’s iconic costume.
Tom Holland is the new Spider-Man.
“You never know with Marvel”, Chris Evans reminds us.
Marvel nerds have always been making bets on Freeman’s character, who has been suspected of being a government liaison to the Avengers, or Everett Ross, a United States agent assigned to Wakanda, giving him ties to Black Panther and a potentially larger role than expected. He explained, “There are a lot of unbelievable actors in this movie”.
