Spider-Man: upcoming film will feature other MCU characters

Sony shared its Spider-Man license with Marvel to get a deadline extension on using the character after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 proved to be a big disappointment for the studio. Then came the revelation that Ant-Man would be getting a sequel in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Walt Disney Company has announced an Indiana Jones film for right around that same time.

So far, the concept of “Inhumans” has been explored mostly on the hit ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Since Marvel Studios’ full Phase Three announcement, there has been some shuffling.

News about Marvel’sCaptain Marvel movie will be made within the next few months. What this means is that the fun thing that audiences get to see in the MU is characters going back and forth between different movies and stories. If not, the characters that we could see being featured include the peculiar group which includes Mister Immortal, the pterodactyl woman Dinah Soar, the teleporter Doorman, Big Bertha, and Flatman.

The Inhumans comics, first introduced in 1965, focuses on a royal family of super beings, ruled over by their mostly silent king Black Bolt, whose voice has the power to level a city.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed the timeline for when the key personnel for 2019’s Captain Marvel will be announced. They have dozens of powers and an awesome social structure. “The most powerful guy is the king who doesn’t say a word and if he does – lookout”.

Whose side are you on?

Speculation aside, when quizzed about the possibility of a cameo or two, Feige pointed to the relatively flexible nature of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has played host to numerous crossovers across its triumphant run on the silver screen.

Feige wouldn’t offer specifics about the Captain Marvel movie other than it will be “about Carol Danvers and that journey to being Captain Marvel”. Inhumans, by contrast, is a relative unknown and looked upon with suspicion among some comic circles as a forced X-Men replacement.
