Spieth at least has a chance in the final major, the PGA
Emiliano Grillo and Jason Day were at 133, with Henrik Stenson at 134.

Streb, the world’s 74th-ranked player, sank eight birdies opposite a bogey on No. 16.
After a career season that included his first victory and a trip to the Tour Championship, Streb hasn’t finished better than T-18 in 23 starts this season. “I’ve just got to kind of inch my way slowly. I’m just going to try and manage my time on the practice range and make sure I get plenty of rest and sleep”. Doesn’t matter what tournament it is or where you’re at. I’ve been in these situations before – not in a major, but it’s still golf, and you want to go out and win.
There’s probably a lesson in here somewhere, one we could all learn if we weren’t now so mesmerized by all those red circles littering Day’s card after the second round.
Stenson, who started at the 10th, struggled at first with bogeys at 12 and 13 but he did not stay down for long, snapping back with an eagle-three at the par-five 18th.
Most of the crowd was at the par-5 closing holes at Baltusrol, and there was no shortage of entertainment.
Jordan Spieth played it in 32, as did Patrick Reed and Zach Johnson.
Sweden’s Stenson, who fired a sensational final-round 63 to outduel Phil Mickelson at Royal Troon two weeks ago and set a British Open scoring record of 20-under, posted his second successive 67 for fifth place. He is tied for sixth at 5 under.
After a double bogey on the seventh hole dropped him back to even par for the tournament, Day went on a tear with a blistering seven birdies in his next eight holes.
Walker had to settle for a 4-under 66, right when he had the 36-hole record for all majors (130) within his reach with two par 5s remaining. Dustin Johnson, who won the U.S. Open in June, also failed to advance. The first group that began on No. 10 was given a bad pin sheet, meaning the hole was not where they were told.
Watson has now made five consecutive cuts in major tournaments.
McIlroy missed chance upon chance for birdies on both Thursday and Friday, over which he had 65 putts in all.
England’s Andrew “Beef” Johnston continued his solid play by shooting 69 to be tied for 34th at one under.
“I’ve hit the ball really well this week and I’m walking away not playing the weekend”, McIlroy said. “Makes sense. But I’m going to enjoy it”.
Rain-soaked Baltusrol, where play was halted for 41 minutes when morning showers left the course unplayable in areas, was surrendering low scores to star shotmakers.
The two-time major champion, birdied three of his last four holes Friday.
For all of the levity, Stenson knows he could be on the verge of some serious history this weekend.
Unlike Mickelson, McIlroy couldn’t respond, though he came close.
“I ended my flawless streak of always making the cut at majors”, Merritt said Friday as he walked off the lower course at Baltusrol Golf Club – and ended his 2016 PGA Championship experience.

Berberian Jr. offset six bogeys, including four on the back nine, with just two birdies during his second round.
