Spieth signs major endorsement with Coca-Cola
With seven PGA tour wins, 22-year-old Jordan Spieth has been compared with the quick start that Tiger Woods had at the start of his golf career two decades ago.

Jordan Spieth’s trophy at the Tournament of Champions on Sunday…
“It’s pretty clear what you have to do to get there, and if I get there I will have achieved the things I’m looking to achieve”.
“Coca-Cola has always been associated with iconic sporting events and some of the world’s greatest athletes, so this is an incredibly cool opportunity for me”, Spieth said in a statement.
Spieth capped his all-world season with a victory at the Tour Championship (which, coincidentally, has Coca-Cola as a presenting sponsor) in September, a win that also brought with it the season-long FedEx Cup title. Woods won his seventh in only his 38 tournament as a pro.
The 22-year-old Spieth outclassed the elite, winners-only field of 32 at Kapalua as he mixed seven birdies with a lone bogey to post a 30-under total of 262.
Spieth was quick to play down comparisons with the 14-time major champion’s achievements.
“I don’t think it’s right for me to sit here and say that I felt like parts of my game wasn’t quite ready because 30 under is, you know, spectacular, I’m very pleased with that”, he said. That paved the way for a record-setting victory, sending a message to the golfing world that he once again plans to make the PGA Tour his playground this season. Loos was on the 18th green when Spieth received his trophy (and the Coke machine).
“Nowhere near”, Spieth said on how his record stacks up with Woods. I dont think theres any reason to compare. “What Tiger has done, I can’t imagine ever being done, but it’s nice to be in that company”. Still, Spieth would likely trail Woods in that category.
If last year’s success was the result of Jordan Spieth’s routine then he’d be wise to not change a thing. McIlroy had come off a year in which he won the British Open and PGA Championship, and he was headed to the Masters with a shot at the career Grand Slam.

It was the fifth time in the last 13 months that Spieth had at least a two-shot lead going into the final round, and he was never seriously challenged.
