Jefferson ended up prophetic, but it took a 225-yard performance from Johnson in a 31-18 loss to Atlanta to get there.

The Philadelphia Eagles are in total disarray following their third straight loss, an embarrassing 45-14 setback to the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.

Today, his Eagles fell in a lopsided contest, 45-14, to the Detroit Lions.

“Don’t, we don’t. We don’t talk about anything behind the next game, just like we always do”.

Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly intercepted two straight passes by Romo, returning the first 32 yards for a touchdown.

Maxwell was spared being part of the Lions scoring highlights when he fell down trying to run with running back Joique Bell, who dropped what would have been another TD pass from Stafford.

The Lions haven’t lost since a front-office shakeup after getting blown by Kansas City in London. “If you keep fighting, good things will happen”. “That’s what you’re seeing now”. Over the last three weeks, the Eagles have managed to lose to a franchise that fired its coach in midseason and another, the Lions, that fired its GM, team president, offensive coordinator and two line coaches a month ago.

“Just a physical specimen”, Sanchez said. “It’s a whole lot more fun when you win”.

Philadelphia was outgained 430-227, allowed three touchdown catches by Calvin Johnson and gave up 3 1/2 sacks to Ziggy Ansah.

“I mean, Adam Schefter, he’s definitely a good source of information”, Peters said Thursday.

One of the most humble, respected players in the league, Johnson admitted Sunday he takes extra pride in his accomplishment given the recent criticism he has received. That’s not a surprise considering Bradford had played just seven games in 2013 and ’14.

Even through Ansah had never played football and barely knew the rules, the BYU coaching staff was intrigued with his size and speed, and persuaded him to try out for the football team.

Matt Stafford, benched earlier this season, threw three of his five touchdown passes in the first half to lead the Lions to the ridiculously easy victory in front of 64,445 at Ford Field. The Eagles couldn’t do much about it, especially after starting cornerback Nolan Carroll left the game with a broken right ankle and was replaced by rookie Eric Rowe.

“I was looking forward to playing against Jason Peters, because he’s such a great player, but he got hurt and they moved Lane from right tackle to left tackle”, he said.

When Kelly was asked about the three-and-outs Thursday, he lamented the Eagles’ pass blocking. James Ihedigbo, who recently lost the strong safety spot to Isa Adbul-Quddus, returned to his former position while Abdul-Quddus slid over to Quin’s spot.

“Every single year, you look at his body physically”. He finished 27 of 38 for 337 yards and threw five TDs for the fourth time in his career. Carroll also intercepted two passes and returned a fumble for a touchdown. The Eagles were undefeated in their previous six Thanksgiving Day games….

Moving forward the Lions host the Green Bay Packers next Thursday in what will be the final winning team on their record as it stands now.

-WR Golden Tate had just his second touchdown reception of the season, gathering in a 2-yard pass from QB Matthew Stafford during the first half. “That’s a play we’ve had in the bag and we pulled it out today”, Stafford said.
