Pokemon Go has not been officially released in China, so some users are reporting that the maps are barren and there are no Pokemon to catch.

Basically it sounds like while you could trick the game into thinking you’re somewhere else, that’s pretty much the extent of it.
We are expectecing the game to launch in the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe shortly, and it should be available on both iOS and Android.
Pokemon Go is the latest iteration of this franchise.
On an iOS device you can download the app by altering the region settings on your device. It is at this point you will be prompted to create a new Apple ID.
You’ll probably need to setup a temporary gmail or some other email account though. So that you don’t have to enter credit card details it’s best to do this on a computer. The fastest way is to open the App Store, click the Featured tab, scroll right to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and hit “Sign out”.
You’ll also be asked to input an address so perhaps find the address of a hotel located in that specific country.

You can do this by going to Settings Security permission to download from “Unknown sources”.
