Spotify doesn’t want you to get its premium subscription through the iTunes

Facebook is to take on Apple, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and a host of other music streaming services if rumours are to be believed. Click the More Options icon to add a song, album or playlist from Apple Music to your iTunes music library. At least by inviting its customers to pay an equal price, Spotify users could avoid the process of copying their Spotify libraries and playlists to Apple Music. It also has the exclusive Connect artist-based social networking feature, which allows music fans to follow their favorite recording stars. That’s true, but only when the service is purchased via the App Store. Apple will charge you from September once the three month free trial period ends. However, a spokesperson for Facebook has refuted this and confirmed to Billboard that they have “no plans to go into music streaming”.

The strongest points of the service are great music curation, Siri usability for fast songs launching, while the app has been described as fun to use.

Meanwhile, many users have expressed their discontent over the popular “Home Sharing” feature that the company trashed in favor of Apple Music. In fact, Apple Music’s 24-hour radio station that broadcasts live was not considered to be a successful move.
