“We’ve made it easy for companies like Domino’s to use the Alexa Skills Kit to create more natural, intuitive ways for customers to interact with their services”, he said.

Previously you could get Spotify working on Echo, but only if you worked at it. After linking your Spotify account with Amazon in the Alexa app, you’ll be able to stream Spotify tracks to Echo by saying things like, “Alexa, play Wilco on Spotify”, or, “Alexa, play my workout playlist”.

Super Bowl fans and couch potatoes rejoice – you can now order a Domino’s pizza without lifting a finger.

“We’re extremely pleased that Spotify Premium subscribers can now listen to their favorite music on Amazon Echo”, said Ian Geller, Global Head of Hardware at Spotify.

Amazon Echo is hands-free and always ready, and with seven microphones and beam-forming technology, it can hear you from across the room-even while music is playing.

As much as it’s shaping up to being an all-encompassing device, the Echo has certainly managed to carve out a stellar lane in music, touting the ability to play tunes from outlets such as Pandora, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music and Prime Music of course and now Spotify, the most-popular music streaming service of them all.

Amazon Echo is a voice-controlled, cilinder-shaped speaker-gadget with a remote.

Amazon.com opened on the World Wide Web in July 1995.

Amazon brought Alexa to the TV with its second-generation Fire TV set-top box, and now, a few months later, the company is also doing the same for owners of its original box, the Verge reports.
