Spotify Running Now Available for Android Devices
The feature had previously been available only to Android users who downloaded the application’s beta 3.1 version, leaving less hands-on Androidians out of the picture.

Spotify has just announced that its Android app has been updated and now features its new Running playlists feature.
With Spotify Running, we’ve combined the best music on the planet with recommendations based on your listening history, multiple-genre playlists as well as original running compositions.
Spotify Running was initially only released to iPhone users across the globe.
Obviously, the feature isn’t ideal, so you might notice that Sportify Running does not always syncs the music to your tempo, but it’s pretty close nevertheless. The company said that it wanted Spotify Running to be the “perfect” companion for your runs and now that ideal companion is finally available on Android.

Spotify Running is actually a fairly clever use of a smartphone’s motion sensors. But that’s not it, it’ll also keep track of your steps and tempo, and pick songs that go with it to help keep up the pace. Head on over to the Google Play Store and check for the latest updates if you’re interested in trying it out.
