Sprague, Ouellette lead OH past Ball State 48-31
OH is 6-4 on the season, 3-3 in the MAC, 6-4 against the spread and 6-4 with the over. OH should dominate the time of possession – Ball State won’t go on many big marches.

– Ball State would counter as kicker Morgan Hagee knocked a 45-yard field goal through the uprights to cut the OH lead to 7-3 at the 8:19 mark of the opening quarter. The OH defense limited Neal to six completions and 93 passing yards in the first half.
Ball State’s (3-7, 2-4 MAC) final two games are against the top two teams in the MAC East – second place OH this week and division champ Bowling Green in the season finale. Neal added 62 yards on five carries. He later pounded it in from 1-yard out to cut the OH lead to 28-10 at halftime. He also threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns against the Bobcats.
A total of four receivers caught passes against OH, but Mabon and Jordan Williams caught 13 of the 16 completed balls.
One player to keep an eye on Tuesday night is junior wide receiver KeVonn Mabon.
– The Cardinals scored their second rushing touchdown of the game on a 10-yard scamper by running back Darian Green.
Both Ball State and OH enter Tuesday’s game with a turnover margin of +5.
– The Bobcats rushed for 332 yards and passed for 275. The Bobcats tacked on another second-quarter touchdown before Ball State could find the end zone.
– A 24-yard run by Patterson opened the following drive, but after driving to the Ball State four, a pass-interference penalty pushed OH to the 19.
On a night the Ball State offense got back on track, it wasn’t almost enough as the defense’s season-long problem of stopping anything presented itself yet again. This year Reid’s second 100 yard game of the year.
Sprague: 15-for-22, 275 yards and three touchdowns. 11 rushes for 46 yards.
