Spreading fast: Teenager diagnosed with Congo virus at JPMC

Jinnah Hospital management showed sheer negligence by admitting a Congo hemorrhagic fever patient in general ward of Jinnah Hospital with minor diseases patients, 24 News HD reported on Friday.

Focal Person on CCHF Ghulam Abbas said the deceased Rehmat Ullah was admitted to the hospital 10 days ago.

He said three other Congo virus patients have been admitted in the hospital while one of them is in critical condition.

Shahid Khan, a 16-year-old student, was admitted at the hospital on Wednesday with a five-day history of high-grade fever, bleeding in his gums and vomiting.
