Springfield Police Looking for Bank Robbery Suspect
Battle Creek police detectives and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are searching for a man who robbed a Battle Creek bank on Saturday, the second robbery at the location in less than a month.

Around 8:33 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a business robbery in the 800 block of Eighth Street E.
They say a lone white male entered the bank with a handgun and demanded money from the teller. S.W.at Territorial Road. Officers flooded the area, but the suspect was not located. Police say he took an unknown amount of money and left the scene.
Despite the heavy gear, they were able to determine that he was a white male, about 5-foot 10-inches with a skinny build, a day’s growth of facial hair and dark trousers and shoes. A dark bandana covered his face, and he also wore jeans and a baseball cap.

The robber implied he was armed, but no weapon was seen.
