Sprint Cup race at Bristol delayed again
Mike Holbrook, right, and William Cantrell look to the sky as severe weather delayed the start of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series auto race, Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 in Bristol, Tenn. The start was delayed for an hour, then the event was red flagged after 38 laps for an additional 90 minutes. But after 10 slow caution laps, the heavy rain returned and things ended for good.

The remainder of the race will continue at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
Teams were not allowed to work on their cars overnight, so there will doubtless be a flurry of adjustments once the race gets rolling today.
With the final rain delay slated to last well into the small hours of the morning, plus track drying time, officials pulled the plug on the night’s racing shortly before 11:30 p.m.
Kyle Busch is the race leader with Chase Elliott in second, Ryan Blaney third, Denny Hamlin fourth and Matt Kenseth fifth.
Pole-sitter Carl Edwards, the victor at the track in the spring, led a top five qualifying filled with Joe Gibbs Racing racers.
With a 50 percent of rain for Sunday, the race could be stop-and-go like the 48 laps raced on Saturday.
