Sprint makes upgrading easier with ‘iPhone Forever’ plan
The offer applies to both new and upgrade-eligible Sprint customers, allowing them to get an iPhone for just $22 per month.

Sprint is following T-Mobile’s lead and offering customers who get an iPhone 6 now a free upgrade to the iPhone 6s when it’s released, presumably in September.
As new iPhones loom, Sprint is joining T-Mobile in trying to rope in new subscribers with a perpetual upgrade offer.
Verizon this week basked in the glory of operating the best performing network in the U.S., according to third-party testing, while its smaller rivals did their best to talk up their own assets and in one case question the validity of the test itself. That’s because with most of these new plans, the cost of your freedom from a two-year contract is the full price of your device-either paid all at once upfront, or tacked onto your bill in monthly installments.
Reports stated that the four major carriers in the United States – Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon – are now adopting the practice. That means customers will only be able to pay full price or lease their phones from the carrier.
Sprint Corp has joined the ranks of other U.S. wireless telephone companies like T-Mobile US Inc and Verizon Communications Inc in scrapping away two-year contracts that used to be the industry standard. Once those two years are up, you can either choose to pay to purchase the phone, or trade it in for a different phone. The name of the program is quite self-explanatory; you would be renting a handset from Sprint.
In addition to announcing the “iPhone Forever” plan, the Overland Park carrier (NYSE: S) said Monday that it plans to eliminate two-year contracts. So long as you upgrade before December 31, your price will remain $15 per month.
Already, Verizon said last week it will scrap two-year contracts, as T-Mobile has added users by scrapping them entirely. When Apple comes out with a new iPhone, you can upgrade instantly. For example, contract plans let you get an iPhone 6 for $200, even though the phone costs $650. Don’t like something? Just pay off your smartphone and take it to the next carrier!

Sprint’s new promo is for existing customers or those who are thinking about switching over, but you’re out of luck if you prefer the Android OS.
