OnePlus released the OnePlus 2 in July 2015 and the smartphone came running on Android 5.1 Lollipop and OxygenOS 2.0.
There’s not much surprise in Google’s June 2016 numbers, as new devices continue to launch with Android 6.0 and existing devices get updated to Marshmallow.

OnePlus 2 owners will experience a host of new features with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
This new update will bring a slew of new features to the OnePlus 2 smartphone.

If you have not received a notification about Marshmallow update, you have to download the zip file available at the OnePlus forum to proceed further. That includes faster fingerprint reader recognition and performance as well as an updated camera app user interface.
Apart from the usual Android Marshmallow goodies that the update holds, there is also an improved camera UI. If you have a recent HTC device, you might already have access to Marshmallow already, especially if you have a flagship.
The Shelf UX has reportedly been improved and OnePlus 2 users can “long press” in order to edit a board.
