The offer builds on the “optimized” streaming package offered as part of the carriers launch last week, which provided unlimited streaming video to customers selecting the new plan, but throttled to limit video quality to around 480p, music streaming to 500 kilobits per second and gaming to 2 Mbps.

The company is offering a promotion to anyone signing up for an Unlimited Freedom plan to get the Premium upgrade for free. The plan also includes “unlimited high speed data for most everything else” according to Sprint.
