The Spurs keep on getting better, what an offseason!
The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have acquired guard Ray McCallum from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for a 2016 second round pick. Once Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Manu Ginobili and David West are signed, the roster will be up to 11.
Adding a player that provides some more youth and energy off the bench makes these very positive San Antonio Spurs trade rumors for the team.
As noted by Stein, the trade for McCallum was necessitated by the loss of Cory Joseph, who signed a 4-year, $30 million deal with Toronto Raptors.
McCallum, 24, will battle Tony Parker and Patty Mills for minutes next season.
