Pochettino admits he is hoping for Leicester’s downfall against Manchester United on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur’s title chances were dealt an enormous blow last night as they drew 1-1 against West Bromwich Albion at home.

“It’s not gone”, Tottenham’s Harry Kane told Sky Sports.

Speaking to the media after the game, Mauricio Pochettino knew it was a huge opportunity missed.

“You’ve got to rise to the pressure and thrive under it”, Fletcher said. We felt we needed to win this game so we are disappointed. “We were unlucky. In the second half it turned a bit against us”. “The gap is seven points and we have ahead three games”.

‘What people say is not down to us, that’s their points of view.

“We need to use this experience for the next few seasons – we are very young”.

“We deserved the win, but sometimes in football you don’t get what you deserve”. We can’t just fold.

“It’s important to keep fighting for the title”.

“We’ve got to move on, Chelsea are next and hopefully United do us a favor and we’ll go from there”.

Spurs’ title hopes appear to have faded after they surrendered a one-goal lead at home to the Baggies on Monday night to draw 1-1.

Even if Leicester – 5,000/1 rank outsiders in the pre-season to win the Premier League after narrowly avoiding relegation last term – slip up at Old Trafford the Foxes will still be in pole position to finish the season as champions.

It was a game of tight margins, with Tottenham having hit the woodwork twice at 0-0 and once more after they had taken a 1-0 lead. It’s true that it’s very hard, more than before the game.

‘But we feel we are one of the best teams in this league. But nothing to complain.

If they lose, that would make it impossible for Leicester to be caught. On Monday they dropped another two points.

“I just want Leicester to win it. Leicester is such a wonderful story and I don’t think it can happen anywhere else but in this country”.

“What Leicester can do is dig results out and thats what theyve done. They have played exceptionally well and won games but when they haven’t they have dug them out”.

West Brom thwarted their opponents with a typically dogged performance, snapping at Tottenham’s heels and making the most of any advantage they could find.
