Pochettino praised the contribution of Son, who was making his first Spurs appearance of the season, having only demonstrated glimpses of his ability in his debut season at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino believes Spurs were so successful in their transfer window business because they are rapidly becoming one of the Premier League’s superpowers.

“After four games unbeaten you can see the players are thinking about the new season and the new challenge”.
