“Farmers in Maharashtra, specially in Marathwada, are reeling under drought”.
“When his help is needed, he isn’t forthcoming”, Khopkar said.
With Pakistan slowly becoming an important market for Bollywood films, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, who star in the upcoming Dilwale, directed by Rohit Shetty, have appeared on two popular Pakistani morning shows.
Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, and Kriti Sanon, Dilwale is set to release on December 18.
When asked about his reaction, Shah Rukh, 50, said, “Before the film’s release it’s better if you ask me questions about the film, because we have been so caught up with work, we don’t understand other things”.

Shah Rukh and Kajol have chosen to promote their film on Hum TV because Hum Films – the TV network’s film wing – is distributing their movie in Pakistan. “As he (Salman) says, I don’t want to make it melodramatic and emotional, ‘Ye bandhan toh pyaar ka…’ It was good to be with him”, he added.
