Hillary Clinton unexpectedly left Sunday’s 9/11 anniversary ceremony in NY after feeling “overheated”, according to her campaign team.

Unconfirmed video has surfaced via social media Sunday that reportedly shows Hillary Clinton being helped into a van after leaving a 9/11 ceremony abruptly.

US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has been treated for pneumonia, her doctor says, after she was taken ill at a 9/11 ceremony. During the speech, she quipped, “Every time I think about Trump I get allergic”.

The campaign also did not take reporters in the motorcade after Clinton’s departure from her daughter’s apartment.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has repeatedly raised questions about his rival’s health and whether she has the energy to serve as president.

“I’ve been talking so much”, Clinton said with a hoarse voice. Clinton’s doctor past year essentially gave her a clean bill of health, stating she is in excellent physical condition.

In the meantime, Twitter user Zdenek Gazda published a video of the politician being held up by a team of aides as a van pulls up.

Bardack’s statement said she re-examined Clinton after the incident on Sunday and treated her for dehydration.

“Secretary Clinton will not be traveling to California (Monday) or Tuesday”, spokesman Nick Merrill said.

“She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule”, Dr Bardack said.

Clinton has been plagued by coughing linked to allergy attacks since earlier in August, the Times noted.

Trump, who attended the same event marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, was noticeably restrained.

Clinton’s doctor Lisa Bardack signed the candidate off in a letter as being “in excellent physical condition and fit to serve as President of the United States”.

On Friday, she told donors that “half” of Mr Trump’s supporters are in a “basket of deplorables” – a comment that drew sharp criticism from Republicans.

She also suffered a concussion in 2012 and attributed some of her memory lapses on Benghazi and email-related matters to that.

Latest incident will further fuel speculation about Hillary Clinton’s health
