Staff Predictions: Dallas Cowboys vs Carolina Panthers
Normally 7 consecutive losses at any point in a season will be enough to knock a team out of playoff contention, but fortunately for the Cowboys, the NFC East may be one of the worst in football.

Romo, facing a blitz on a third-and-six at the Dolphins 12, lobbed a pass toward the end zone that was easily intercepted by cornerback Brent Grimes.
Now Carolina could be the 11th team to start the season at 11-0 and first since 2011, but despite its torrid start and Newton’s MVP-level play odds makers aren’t giving Carolina much of a shot against quarterback Tony Romo and the Cowboys.
The situation was tricky for Romo coming into the game: a short week for a 35-year-old quarterback with a surgically repaired back and a mending shoulder. The Panthers are 10-0 straight up and an impressive 8-2 against the spread. The defense has been tremendous for quite a while now and it’s been even better this season with middle linebacker Luke Kuechly once again playing at a high level.
For what it’s worth, Rivera’s Bears wound up beating the Cowboys 44-0 that season and went on to win the Super Bowl. Here are our staff predictions for the game.
Tony Romo is one of the most underrated quarterbacks who has ever graced a professional football field.
While he didn’t blow up the stat sheet, Jones played a solid game in coverage while still contributing eight tackles, two of which came behind the line of scrimmage.
“You take it as a challenge and it makes it even more enjoyable, if that makes any sense”. He has three 100-yard games over that span, including a strong game on Sunday rushing 29 times for 129 yards. “It just gives you an extra boost”.
Romo returned to active duty for the first time in almost two months to throw for 213 yards while completing 17-of-27 throws.
“Tony talked to us, and what he said really stayed with me”.
The undefeated Carolina Panthers face the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. They’re 3-3 since coach Joe Philbin was sacked and replaced by Campbell. “I’m just glad to have him back”. “He does a great job”.

I see the Cowboys winning this game in a thriller and win off of Dan Bailey’s leg. The Cowboys are hungrier than this Panthers team and with Romo back, there is an upset in the making. “And then the mental side of it and trying to catch up with the plays and understanding what they’re doing and how to attack them and where they’re vulnerable and my thought process in those moments and all that”. Can he make the difference and provide a win when we shouldn’t have won.
