Stamford hosts annual Christmas tree lighting
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Okanagan! Santa Claus is coming to El Mirage. Santa joins the community and participates in the parade as the last float leads everyone to the community Christmas tree.

The traditional “night after Thanksgiving” program will feature holiday music and a sing-along, the arrival of Santa Claus and the courthouse lighting.
Eleventh Annual Miss Christmas Pageant – Winners in divisions ranging from infant to age 18 will be decided in the 11th Annual Miss Christmas Pageant to be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, December 5, at the Rison Elementary Auditorium.
Sellersville (2 N. Main St., Sellersville, Pa.): After the 6:30 p.m. tree lighting on Tuesday, December 1, take an old-fashioned trolley ride around the town. The trees in the Park in the Square are lit, and holiday carolers will be on hand.
December 5 is sure to have plenty of holiday cheer as the city, in partnership with the Crabapple Community Association, hosts the eighth annual Christmas in Crabapple.

At 7 p.m., a switch with be flipped and more than 100,000 lights will transform Courthouse Square into a Christmas holiday scene.
