Warner Bros.’ low-budget horror “Lights Out” opened with $21.6 million more than quadrupling its reported $5 million budget to tie with “Ghostbusters” for third place. Audiences gave the film a “B+” CinemaScore, but only 13 percent of Rotten Tomatoes critics rated it positively. Domestically it won’t finish up much above $75 million to $80 million, but that should be enough to get it across the profit line with remaining global profits and a budget of $105 million. Per arrangement with CBS Studios, the show’s episodes will be available within 24 hours after it has been released on CBS All Access, according to the Netflix press release.
