In the clip below, Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Bones (Karl Urban) find themselves stranded together on a mysterious planet after a rough crash-landing ’cause someone blew up the Enterprise.
Conceived just before the tragic loss of Leonard Nimoy in February a year ago, the documentary project sees director Adam Nimoy interview cast members from the original series all the way up to the rebooted film series starring Zachary Quinto as the beloved Vulcan. “People ask me what it was like living with Spock, and for the most part during that period he’d come home at night, eat his dinner, memorize his lines, and then just go to sleep”, Adam says.
Written and directed by Adam, the documentary looks back at Leonard’s life and career, as well as the lasting impact of his iconic Star Trek character Spock. The audience was filled with Star Trek fans who differed in age but not in passion for the stories.
