Star Wars 7 is ‘best ever’

Poster artist Drew Struzan is convinced die-hard fans will think Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens blows all other features in the series out of the water. New Marvel comics and new Del Rey books are being announced regularly as the Star Wars franchise gears up for its new era of storytelling, so we’ve laid out what is now considered canon in one handy infographic.

“And you know that in the “Star Wars” universe there are going to be certain things that you’re going to want to see”, he added, “and that’s cool and that’s great”.

Either it’s just another case of the Japanese doing some weird, kooky stuff because that’s just what they like to do, or else it’s another ploy to gain some media exposure ahead of the release of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Last weekend at the Disney D23 Expo, Struzan revealed the first poster for the new film. But who knows; maybe when I actually see the film, I’ll connect more to Captain Phasma and end up as big a fan of her and Gwendoline Christie as J.J. himself.

“I acquired to learn the script and subsequently I’ve seen half of it and I can inform you and the followers this, trustworthy to god, it’s far and away in all probability going to be THE BEST “Star Wars” you’ve ever seen“, Struzan dished.

Remember the old Star Wars expanded universe?

“I paint the situation and I paint the feelings”, he said.

In an interview with Movie Weekly, Struzan explained the process of coming on board for the sequel, saying that Abrams basically fanboyed on him, convincing him to come on board. Am I comparing this too much to not only Struzan’s past posters and the films themselves?

To me it represents the film. The partnership also means ANA will be the only airline in the world to offer all six of the now released Star Wars films as part of its extensive in-flight entertainment options on global routes.
