The pint-sized star addressed his 527,000 followers on Twitter following thieves callously taking off with his Swift/Archway Cranford 545 on the evening of 8 October from a caravan site in Yaxley. One containing a picture of the missing mobile home has been retweeted almost 1,400 times.
Writing on Twitter, Davis appealed directly to the perpetrator saying: “If you stole our caravan or know who did, please can we have the sentimental items back that are of no use to you?”
Celebrities such as Catchphrase presenter Stephen Mulhern and radio DJ Chris Moyles have joined the hunt, spreading awareness and declaring their anger.
Davis tweeted “My touring caravan was stolen. even though it was locked up with hitch & wheel lock!”
The Harry Potter actor thanked his followers for their “support and help” following the burglary.
Davis is also appearing in the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.
Davis, who played the role of Wicket in the third of the original Star War movies, took to Twitter on Friday following the theft.
