At EA Play, it teased some of its upcoming projects as well as the new content coming to Star Wars Battlefront, Galaxy of Heroes, and The Old Republic. The first game was released late 2015, while Bespin and Death Star levels are due before the end of 2016, and it’s collaborating with Motive Studios in Montreal and the UK’s Criterion for a “Star Wars Battlefront” sequel, due 2017.

Criterion producer James Svensson is optimistic that the whole new environment that gamers will find them in once “Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission” is out will be like no other via IGN.

As Kotaku implies, nobody is all that surprised that there are so many new Star Wars games in development, but for fans of the franchise, there is certainly a whole lot to look forward to in the video game space alone.

Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind Titanfall, revealed that their untitled Star Wars game will feature light saber combat and take place in a different era.

EA makes the announcement everyone saw coming, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be hitting shelves next year.

Lastly, the third major game is under development at Visceral Games, led by Uncharted series veteran, Amy Hennig. Another interesting addition was a featurette showcasing many studios striving bring Star Wars experience to life.

Electronic Arts has lifted a tiny corner of the lid on Visceral Games’ secretive next title after it unveiled a brief look at concept footage of the game at its E3 2016 press conference.

What that means exactly remains unclear, but one thing’s for sure – we should expect great things from “experience centered” virtual reality in at least one of the new releases.
