Fighter Squadron Mode in Star Wars Battlefront is where players turn to for vehicle combat when they’re looking for something to supplement their planetary experiences. The name pretty much explains it all, as it’s all aerial battles. Boba Fett has been confirmed.

For a quick fix that fulfils those Star Wars pilot fantasies, Fighter Squadron is ideal. Let’s hope it plays as well as it looks.

The Star Wars Battlefront franchise is so close that fans can nearly taste it. With only 3 months away, EA shows fans more of the game’s content through their trailers and gameplay walkthroughs, relentlessly enticing fans all over the globe.

The game developer’s official Star Wars Twitter account posted a short, 12-second clip that gives us a first look at the upcoming game mode.

“PlayStationLifeStyle further adds that both DICE and EA Games are planning to reveal a new game mode for “Star Wars” Battlfront” very soon, or it could happen this week at Gamescom if latter wants to. The trailer’s perspective jumps from one side of the conflict to the other and back as X-Wings, TIE Fighters, A-Wings and TIE Interceptors duke it out in the skies over Sullust. But we’ve got an interview with the game’s producer tomorrow, so we’ll ask then. Finally, a splendid shot of some X-Wings is displayed. Factor 5 shut down in 2008, four years after LucasArts decided to cancel the Rogue Squadron series during internal restructuring.

There are power-ups scattered around the map that reset cool-downs or restore shields, plus a rarer collectible that, if you’re a Rebel, puts you in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars Battlefront will be out on November 17th in North America and November 20th in North America for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

EA’s massively multilayer online game belongs to the same genre as World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, and Star Trek Online.

Ships are equipped with laser cannons and missiles, plus a special ability depending on if you are playing for the Rebels or Empire. Probably. Although the presentation leaned heavily on the stars of the game, the actual racing you can glimpse looks pretty impressive too.

“It was in this moment that they knew this was what players need to feel when trudging through the cold, dark, and unstable terrain of a previously unexplored planet and bringing this to Star Wars Battlefront would be one of their biggest challenges yet”.
