More information about how the game is being gauged in IGN. You should know that they are all specifically designed for the specific game mode in mind; in other words, these aren’t just smaller versions of maps used elsewhere.

But since that’s all the image really shows, I’m going to have to take a rather uneducated guess and assume this could be something to do with a Wave/Horde/Survival mode.

No actual details were revealed about the new multiplayer modes.

That’s the new company mantra it seems, but those looking forward to Star Wars: Battlefront needn’t worry about it.

Honestly enough, it was acclaimed that the game is still now being worked on. While most of the info posted there is old news, EA did reveal when fans can get a few hands-on time with the shooter, as well mention which species gamers can play as in-game.

Missions mode can be played both online and offline for the single player campaign of “Star Wars Battlefront“.

The website speculated that next playable characters to join “Star Wars Battlefront” could be Luke’s allies Han Solo and Chewbacca, while Segment Next reportedly claimed that it could be Yoda, Qui-Gon Jun and Darth Maul. Playble heroes and villains will likely be the same and EA confirmed that vehicles will tied into power ups found in each map and Y-Wings will act as support units to call upon. With months away, the game is yet to please fans all over.

In addition to Gamescom, “Battlefront” will also be showing up at the upcoming EB Games Expo convention in Sydney, Australia, as well as the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
