Star Wars: Battlefront Beta is now available on all of the current generation platforms, which include Sony Corp.’s (NYSE: SNE) PlayStation 4, Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ: MSFT) Xbox One, and Windows PC. The beta is expected to say goodbye on October 12, until the game’s full release later this year. As a test version of the game, it was obvious that not all of the features were going to be flawless, but man, this is something else. This will give EA DICE enough time to fine tune and polish the game before its eventual release. Along with the Survival mode, there is also being the 40-player Walker Assault multiplayer mode on the ice planet of Hoth. Now, it looks like EA intends to add more servers to the game’s beta to cope up with the increasing number of players. It can be played by a single player or two with the objective of holding ground against Imperial Stormtroopers and TIE fighters.

Star Wars Battlefront allows players to immerse themselves in the Star Wars universe, fighting in the saga’s biggest battles. It is up to the players to choose whether or not they will join the dark side.

However, in playing the beta you’ll have noticed a bevy of modes on the menus aren’t open to be played just yet, and that’s prompted intrepid PC users to dive into the game’s files, uncovering something that isn’t (and was never meant to be) shown to the public just yet.
