D23 is well underway today, and as expected, EA is flexing its muscle with Star Wars Battlefront. Also unlike Battlefield, there’s no emphasis on draining respawn tickets; whoever controls all the points, or holds the most at the end of 10 minutes, wins the round. During the beginning of the game, each team will handle two of the control points and will try to determine who will take possession of the fifth point in the center.

Almost all of the Star Wars Battlefront sandbox will be at your disposal. Guarding an area that players need to capture is Darth Vader, for example. The game’s new Supremacy mode indeed have some elements that resembles Battlefield’s Conquest mode.
SWTOR (Star Wars: The Old Republic) is now a free to play game, with the option to subscribe, which opens loads of exclusive perks and features for those willing to pay $15 a month. There’s no space combat, but there’s plenty of in-atmosphere battles and dog fights. These multiplayer modes include close-quarter battle situations, and all these clashes will reportedly happen on huge maps with ground troops, vehicles, heroes and villains joining the intense battle.

I want to switch to Star Wars Battlefront. The game had terrific controls and looked just as good as the trailers and video Electronic Arts and DICE have shared already. At least, as far as the control points go. Id argue that the more annualized versions of Call of Duty and Battlefield, for instance, should ditch the campaign entirely to focus more resources on the main attraction. 17 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, which character becomes available will depend upon whether the team are playing for the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire. While the franchise primarily focused on multiplayer, each title featured a single player mode of some kind.
Star Wars Battlefront comes in standard version and in an enhanced deluxe edition. The sting of it all is then intensified when you see these games, their heart and soul excised, still costing full price with content withheld for pre-order bonuses and additional costs down the road, or plagued by microtransactions.

On the other hand, a single player campaign might set Battlefront apart from all the other shooters that are coming out around the same time.
