The show will unfold through a series of acts and will be punctuated by a tower of fire and powerful spotlight beams that create lightsabers in the sky, according to a Disney announcement about the new Star Wars attractions. The lengthy title refers to the plot device Lucas dreamed up early on to connect the events of “Star Wars” to the real world.
Team Negative One’s restoration aimed to be more faithful than the only publicly released HD version of the theatrical cuts made available as DVD bonuses in 2006 release of the original trilogy (which suffered from detail loss in the transfer process after being taken from the Laserdisc release of the films).
It has been rumored ever since Disney purchased Lucasfilm that an original version of the classic trilogy will be coming to home video at some point.
This new nightly show is the next generation of the current Star Wars-inspired fireworks show.

The big difference, of course, is the name Luke Starkiller, instead of Skywalker. “We know that anyone under 30 kind of prefers the clean, sharp, detailed look”, he told Movie Mezzanine. But it’s not hard to track down if you look hard enough.
