Star Wars Creator George Lucas Not a Fan of The Force Awakens

Star Wars creator George Lucas has hit out at The Force Awakens and criticised how Disney has developed the film franchise.

The photo drew criticism from Instagram users who cite the action as “immature” and “inappropriate”. He raised concerns that the fire alarm did not go off until the building was “properly on fire”.

As Lucas has said before, he had ideas for a new Star Wars trilogy, but when Disney bought the rights they weren’t interested in his plan – perhaps rightfully so.

INSIDE THE PLAYOFF: Saban worries about playoff-or-bust
Saban tried the National Football League for a couple of seasons with the Miami Dolphins before returning to college in 2007. A Boston restaurant magnate says that the games are “not a factor” in her restaurant’s New Year’s plans.

“They looked at the stories, and they said, “We want to make something for the fans”…”

Smalling has been one of the most improved players under Van Gaal, and can genuinely lay claim to being among the best centre-backs in the league this season.

While Lucas may not have been thrilled with Disney’s vision for the franchise, he did give the personal thumbs up on The Force Awakens to director J.J. Abrams.

Lucas revealed that it hasn’t always been easy letting go of the franchise, even if the sale left with him with more wealth than he could imagine.

The petition posted on Change.org is aimed at Disney, the studio behind the blockbuster, calling on executives to organise a special screening for troops to make sure they don’t miss out on the movie event of 2015.

“I have been working with Disney for 40 years and chose them as the custodians of “Star Wars” because of my great respect for the company and Bob Iger’s leadership”, said Lucas in his Thursday statement. “I think the fans are going to love it”, he told Vulture ahead of The Force Awakens’ release.

R2-D2 was the first droid to make an appearance at the Cinerama Star Wars marathon. They decided they were going to go do their own thing. I decided, Fine, but basically… they weren’t that keen to have me involved, anyway.

Some might say that the theory is a little far-fetched but when you see comments such as these, you can certainly understand why this theory is catching on. But you have to just cut it off and say Okay, end of ball game, I got to move on. “I’m going to try and take it into something that is more emotionally powerful than most of the stuff we’ve done up to this point”. You have to put it behind you, and it’s a very, very, very hard thing to do.

“I misspoke and used a very inappropriate analogy and for that I apologize”, Lucas said.
