During today’s press conference for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a conference in which none of the press had seen the film because it wasn’t screened for them, J.J. Although no release date has been set for the final film in the series, Episode IX, fans can also expect an anthology movie about Han Solo, set to be released on May 25, 2018.

One scene in the movie supposedly shows that she too is Force sensitive. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. “How can anything live up to any expectation like that?”

Kennedy stressed that unlike Darth Maul, who failed to survive Episode I, Captain Phasma is a major character and plays an important part in the film. “‘Star Wars’ never had like insane violence or anything”, she said.
