Star Wars: Harrison Ford wanted Han Solo to be killed off
Harrison Ford reprised his role as Hans Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and apparently pocketed a pretty pay packet in return for his services.

His co-stars from the original trilogy, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fischer were offered to be paid in the seven figures which is hoped to go up as they will be appearing in the sequels and their characters will grow stronger.
Harrison Ford’s payday for his role as Han Solo in the The Force Awakens was massive, far outpacing the other actors in the new installment of the franchise.
According to a report from StarWars.com, the untitled (at least to the public) Han Solo movie is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2018.
According to The Daily Mail’s math, the actor could make more than $34 million for his role in the seventh installment of the blockbuster series when all is said and done!
Ford would be in the list of top 10 highest paid actors in Hollywood with only six of them who got paid more than $34m during the most recent period on record. Despite being the future of the franchise, newcomers John Boyega and Daisy Ridley were paid in the $100,000 to $300,000 range given their lack of on-screen experience.
“There will be a handful of new cast members in Episode VIII but also all the cast members you see here tonight will be in it as well”, the film producer revealed in an interview with Evening Standard.

Fisher reportedly earned just $1.5 million, a stark contrast considering she was arguably as a big a star as Ford in the first film. Salaries don’t include back-end bonuses from the box office that doesn’t begin until the film crosses $1 billion worldwide.
