‘Star Wars’: How the Force has awakened a new generation of moviegoers

The original trilogy – “Star Wars” (1977), “The Empire Strikes Back” (1980) and “Return of the Jedi” (1983) – have proved so enduring that even Lucas’ later missteps haven’t damaged the brand. But where do the other five belong?

The force will be with the fans attending the Nets vs. Orlando Magic game at Barclays Center, who will see Star Wars integrated into the game experience in a multitude of ways. But what if there was a dedicated “Star Wars” cruise ship plowing the waters at light speed?
