Star Wars’ J.J

While he’s absolutely right that Star Wars isn’t just about spaceships, there probably aren’t too many fans of the original trilogy who are into it for its soap opera aspects.

Fans at Comic Con in Brazil were the first to see Disney and Lucasfilm’s debut of, what is believed to be, the final behind-the-scenes video before the next instalment of the Star Wars saga hits cinema screens.

In that regard, TIME Magazine recently unveiled its behind the scenes photoshoot of the Stars of The Force Awakens, with photographer Marco Grob, and the photo of Mark Hamill is…for lack of a better word, shocking. It’s certainly a welcome sight that should instill even more confidence in J.J. Abrams following the much detested prequel films.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be in theaters on December 18, 2015. Well in the lead up to the huge cinematic event, Disney have rolled out a new content update for their popular Star Wars: Commander mobile game.

A spokesperson told me that supplies will theoretically last a couple of weeks, although that seems optimistic given the excitement around Star Wars.

Up next was Kathleen Kennedy, along with John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie and Harrison Ford.

Meanwhile, Star Wars: Episode VIII director Rian Johnson and Star Wars: Rogue One’s Gareth Edwards have seen a rough version of the film. Say what you will about the prequels, they feel like Star Wars.

But they promise the new film is going to be good.

Kaling, poking fun at the secrecy surrounding the film asked the president of Luscasfilm, “I know you can’t tell me what is in the movie, but can you tell me what is not in the movie?”

“The issue was ultimately, they looked at the stories and they said, ‘We want to make something for the fans, ‘” Lucas said.

Lucas now joins an elite group of people who have seen The Force Awakens, which includes Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega.
