Before the film: It’s got the Millennium Falcon in it, so you can’t lose.

Even though they are new to this space saga, old fans can detect bits and pieces of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo (from the original trilogy) in them – lone scavenger Rey in the desert planet of Jakku seeks the truth of her life like Luke did in the desert planet of Tatooine in “A New Hope”.

After the film: There’s a lot of people who enjoyed the films first-time round that will enjoy this one now.

“I never got to see the originals in the cinema so that’s something I’ve been really excited for”.

After the film: I normally fall asleep in every film that I watch and I didn’t in this one!

“The preview in the middle between the two movies was Star Wars and I was hooked”.

Londoner Boyega, who auditioned for seven months to play Finn, said: “For a guy from south-east Peckham, I think I did alright”. “Our screen is now 101 years old and connected to the history of cinema in Scotland and we wanted to add a few extra touches to make it a nice experience for customers”.

Before the film: I have to be up at six o’clock but it’s worth it. I’m a lifetime fan, I remember seeing it as a kid!

Before the film: This is a very good Christmas present for me, it looks good.
