The Disney Interactive Panel at D23 threw down the gauntlet for fantastic new Star Wars games, and the latest from Disney Infinity. Featuring an original story set in the Episodes I-III timeline, players will travel through four iconic locations, use the Force™ and Lightsabers™ in epic battles, and master their combat skills. Taking place during the events of the first three films, we will control both Anakin Skywalker (before he flipped out) and Ahsoka Tano as they attempt to bring back peace to the galaxy.
In addition, Disney has announced brand new characters which will join the series’ 1.0 and Marvel 2.0 line-up which includes Disney Pixar’s Inside Out and Marvel’s Hulkbuster and Ultron from this year’s movie release of Marvel’s Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. For example, an Inside Out Playset will launch alongside the Twilight of the Republic Playset.
The playset, which will include Anakin and Ahsoka (Obi-Wan, Darth Maul and Yoda will be available separately), will be released for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, iOS, Android and PC platforms August. 30.

A “Star Wars: Battlefront” Deluxe Edition will also be available with the digital voucher of the four classic “Star Wars” games with “enhanced graphics and Trophy support”.
