Kennedy continued, “The Anthology films offer opportunities to explore fresh characters, new storylines and a variety of genres inside the Star Wars universe”.

Back in 2012, when it was announced that Disney had made a multi-billion dollar acquisition of Lucasfilm and had plans for three new Star Wars films in the works, it was bittersweet news for a few.
