After unveiling Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and enough First Order Stormtroopers to fill a battalion, Hot Toys is turning the spotlight on the Resistance with its Star Wars: The Force Awakens 1/6th-scale Rey and BB-8 Collectible Set.

Abrams also revealed at the press conference there will no post-credits scene in the film.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams.

However, the latest clip to emerge of Boyega’s enthusiastic fandom is probably the best yet – because he actually got co-star Harrison Ford to sign an original Han Solo action figure while filming with him on set. “In a way, we were going backward to go forward”.

“The Force Awakens” – Episode VII in the saga – takes place 30 years after “Return of the Jedi”.

The new Force Awakens update for Star Wars: Commander is available as a free download through the Apple App Store or Google Play. There’s also a very rare sighting of Mark Hamill, though not as Luke Skywalker; instead, he’s one of the many cast members being interviewed in the video. Finn’s comment on his shooting really reminded me of Sam Gamgee’s “I think I’m getting the hang of this!” frying pan line from The Lord of the Rings, which is fine; Finn is a grunt, a footsoldier who has about as much experience operating the gun on a modified YT-1300 freighter as he does wielding a lightsaber.
