Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rated PG-13

“People are shopping, they’re traveling, they also know that their kids are going to be on vacation in a week and they’re going to all go see movies together”.

The Force Awakens has officially been given a PG-13 rating for “Sci-Fi Action Violence”.

While it’s likely Star Wars: The Force Awakens lead John Boyega has had ample opportunity to see the highly anticipated movie, the actor told ET he’s counting down just like the rest of us. Having said that, ILMxLab does have a video out which showcases some of their technology and there are snippets of Star Wars related imagery. In case you’re wondering, it’s: “This”. As Entertainment Weekly noted, “Revenge of the Sith” grossed $380 million, which was $70 million more than its PG-rated predecessor, “Attack of the Clones”.

If you’re a Star Wars fan, you should Google “a long time ago in a galaxy far far away”, right away.

Some of customized features will happen immediately, like the ones in Youtube and Chrome, while others might take a while to awaken. Created by Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic Experience Lab (ILMxLAB) and Skywalker Sound alongside Google and Verizon the Star Wars: The Force Awakens VR experience will be released on Wednesday 2nd December 2015. To celebrate this day, Google added a search engine showing character information taken from the Star Wars databank.
