In 2012, The Walt Disney Company purchased Lucasfilm and immediately announced a new sequel trilogy in the “Star Wars” franchise, with J.J. Abrams as the first film’s director. “It’s a world I want to get back to immediately”, Director J.J. Abrams said in the video.
Basically, the Star Wars cast is us, all of the fans-and this movie is the Force, binding us all together in our sheer and unashamed excitement.
In an interview with The Washington Post published earlier this month, George compared his current relationship with Star Wars to children in a divorce. “It was something the felt like true passion, And each person brought much more than was expected”, Abrams says.
The Force Awakens, Daisy Ridley plays Rey, a scavenger on a desert planet. The secrecy has stirred rampant online speculation, particularly about the fate of Skywalker, who is absent from trailers and posters promoting the new film.
Backen, who has seen the movies countless times, said that although the characters are not actively wrestling with philosophical concepts, the movies help explain a lot of human experience through their stories.
“Jar Jar is definitely not in the movie”, responded Kennedy, who said that Episode VIII will begin shooting in January. According to AMC Theatres, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” sold $6.5 million worth of IMAX tickets on the first day they were available. “It’s always joyful and always uplifting even though bad things happen”. So, it appears as if at least Boyega, and possibly all three, will make a return visit in the next “Star Wars” Saga film. “There is definitely surprise and evil and yet there’s also, I think, an incredible sense of adventure and hope”.
