Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Reactions From Disney

Those who have been following “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” news may be quick to jump the gun and say Disney and Lucasfilm are feeding viewers too much.

The trailer opens with Daisy Ridley’s character Rey and John Boyega’s Finn questioning their places in the galaxy, before new antagonist Kylo Ren, played by Girls star Adam Driver, promises to finish what Darth Vader started. All of it. The Dark Side.

In addition to Ford, Carrie Fisher returns as Princess Leia and Mark Hamill reprises his role as Luke Skywalker.

Ticket sales for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” have already broken records, ousting “The Hunger Games” for highest first day ticket sales, outselling the film eight times over.

The Force Awakens is shaping up to be quite a lucrative movie for Disney. AMC alone sold out 1,000 shows in less than 12 hours but also noted that there are still almost 4 million tickets available for opening weekend.
