In just four hours last Tuesday, the first pre- sale of “Star Wars” garnered thirty thousand dollars in just four hours.
The 20-hour marathon is broken up with short breaks between the first three and a solid hour-and-a-half break between series.
“Combined with the 16 million viewers that tuned in to watch the trailer on ‘Monday Night Football, ‘ that’s a total of 128 million views”, THR notes. There were cheers and tears from fans of all ages and there was also the matter of advance ticket sales. The power of Star Wars fans.

Lucasfilm and Disney delightedly discussed the film’s sales, and the reaction to Monday’s trailer.

What we know of this villain is limited, but he seems to be rather like his predecessor in black armour and cyborg appearance, but also seems skilled with a light-saber presuming he is working alone.
