Starbucks is ramping up its plans roll out wine and craft beer menus in stores across the country.
The store that reopened Monday is the first under the Starbucks brand to offer alcohol.
Starbucks’ offers several flatbreads on its Evenings menu.
The roll out began with a location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but will continue with locations in Denver, Miami, Orlando and Northern California.
USA TODAY also reports that among the hundreds of stores that applied for a liquor licence, the lucky Williamsburg store at 154 N. 7th St. was granted the power to start pouring glasses of wine, beer and “adult beverages” (coffee, anyone?) this week!
A coffee shop might seem an unlikely place to go in the evenings, but an expanded menu and booze makes Starbucks a place to launch and land after a hectic day. “You can actually have a small group and hear yourself talk”.
